This autumn, melodies flow in harmony as the UK Chinese Music Ensemble is honoured to be invited to perform at Cardiff University for a special concert titled “CrossCurrent – A Fusion of Traditional and Contemporary Chinese Chamber Music.” 🍁🎶
The programme will feature an exciting blend of traditional and modern works, highlighting the expressive beauty of pipa, guzheng, and Chinese–Western collaborations including new premieres. Audiences will experience the dialogue between ancient timbres and modern composition — a musical meeting point where East meets West.
